Septic Tank Pumping

Share

Being buried beneath the surface make septic systems – ‘out of sight and out of mind.’

However, a septic tank requires regular affordable maintenance. The frequency of maintenance depends on the size of the septic tank, the length of the drain field, the number of occupants in the home, and the overall demand or usage. Typically, most septic systems are designed to be pumped every 3 years.

If a tank is not regularly cleaned, solids build up and can flow to the drain-field, at first slowing down absorption, eventually ending it. Remember, only fluids without solids should run to the drain-field. If the solids continue to find their way to the drain field, it will have to be excavated and replaced. This comes at a high cost.

The good news is, regular pumping pays for itself.

Don’t let ‘out of sight and out of mind’ cost you thousands of dollars. If it’s time to schedule a maintenance or you’re overdue, it’s essential to have the septic system pumped as soon as possible.

Septic tank cleaning usually takes 30-40 minutes, and you do not have to be home while we’re pumping it unless you are currently having problems, like a backup.
